M18000TBT (Tow Between) 

The M18000TBT is designed to cater for large broadacre seeding programmes where a large capacity airseeder is required.  The M18000TBT can be configured as follows:

• 2 x seed tanks combined (9100lt) and 2 x fertiliser tanks combined (9100lt);
• 1 x seed tank (4700lt), 1 x liquid tank (4400lt) and 2 x fertiliser tanks (4700 and 4400lt); or
• 1 x seed tank (4700lt), 2 x liquid (4400lt and 4400lt or 8800lt combined) and 1 x fertiliser tank (4700lt).

The M18000TBT is fitted with 24.5×32 dual tyres, a 10" double flighted auger, full variable rate hydraulic drives, stainless steel metering systems and polyethelene tanks.  When fully loaded, drawbar weight transferred to the tractor is approximately 3900kgs, depending on the configuration of products.

Engine Drive

M14000TBT and M18000TBT Multistream bins can be fitted with an optional engine driven power pack.  The power pack provides power for the following functions:

• fan;
• granular metering systems;
• liquid metering systems;
• liquid agitation systems; and
• lighting systems.

The engine drive uses a 3.3lt (202ci) 4 cylinder naturally aspirated Yanmar diesel rated at 51kw (68hp) @2500rpm.  The engine is Tier II complient and features:

• direct injection;
• 4 valves per cylinder;
• liquid cooling;
• turbo pre-cleaner;
• donaldson aircleaner with safety element;
• tachometer;
• electric start; and
• engine protection / automatic shut down as standard. 

The engine, hydraulic and exhaust heat is captured and directed into the airseeder fan enabling air temperatures at the seeding boots to be raised by approximately 20 degrees Celsius. On an 18.3m (60′) DBS equipped with a dual shoot airkit and liquid kit, the engine drive will save the tractor up to 60hp at the engine crank enabling this horsepower to be better utilised to pull extra tines or deeper blades. 

The engine drive also enables farmers to update their seeding equipment to the latest technology without having to necessarily upgrade their tractor at the same time, saving significant capital outlays.  The engine drive is equipped with its own hydraulic oil and diesel tanks, both of 150lt capacity.  Approximate fuel consumption is 6 lt/hr allowing for 24 hour’s working between fills.  Maximum weight transferred to the tractor is approximately 4300kgs.
